Xan-Man learned to crawl before he learned to sit. When given the choice, I know he’d rather be mobile but I still think he likes the view from here.

Thirty-One Weeks…
At thirty one weeks, Xander is: trying avocados and prunes; laughing out loud over games of peek-a-boo (and other forms of parental silliness); grinning at and grabbing for books; enjoying going to play dates, story time, and music class with his older brother; and continuing to bless us with his wide open happy spirit and ready smile.
Painter’s Tape Roads…
We’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of the toddler activity ideas from my new favorite blog (http://engagingtoddleractivities.wordpress.com/). Creating roads out of painter’s tape on the kitchen floor has been one of our favorites.
Happy Birthday, PaPa…
As MeMe and PaPa are still waiting on their new house to be built, we all gathered together at a local hotel to celebrate PaPa’s birthday with gift giving, meal sharing, pool swimming, and cake eating. We had a blast (especially Xander with his first introduction to the pool). Happy Birthday, PaPa…we love you!!!
Family Zoo Day…
We took advantage of one of those rare, warm and sunny winter days and met Jonas and Xander’s Aunt Heather and Cousin Annabella at the zoo. We had so much fun and look forward to many more zoo visits this spring…
Xander Big Boy…
Xander is such a big boy with his finger foods and sippy cup. He is a hollerer if food is not in his mouth as soon as he sits down to eat, so his fascination with feeding himself has been a meal time blessing.
